GNUweb

This is proof of concept world-changing application.

It allows hosting static web pages on GNUnet anonymous p2p network.

Ideal for /.*chan/ sites, wikileaks and others.

Requirements:

  1. working ruby 1.9
  2. working gnunet installation with recent gnunet-search
  3. probably linux

Setup:

  1. Edit config file. Set paths to gnunet-search and gnunet-download, path to cache directory, desired anonimity level.
  2. Start: ruby1.9 gnuweb_proxy.rb
  3. Set proxy in your browser to localhost:8080

You can open any gnunet link (ecrs), just change gnunet:// to http:// Example url:
